In Usaquen, a few blocks away, you’ll find bars, cafés and nice restaurants. At weekends, a flea market livens up the neighborhood.

From Usaquen square, you can easily get anywhere by cab or bus: La Candelaria, Terminal del Norte, Terminal Salitre and the airport are all about 25 minutes away by cab (except at peak times – 6:00 to 9:30 a.m. and 4:30 to 8:00 p.m.)

Why stay in Chapinero?
Chapinero is the neighborhood of Bogotá’s golden youth. It stretches from Chapinero Alto to El Chico, and we’re going to concentrate on the area around what’s known as the Zona Rosa. The Zona Rosa is the area of Chapinero where all the nightlife – bars, restaurants, nightclubs, etc. – is concentrated.
Chapinero is not the area where you’ll find the most affordable accommodation in Bogotá. As the neighborhood is quite middle-class, prices are affected and low-cost hostels are rare.

As we’ve already explained, Zona Rosa is certainly Bogotá’s most famous nightlife district. You’ll find all kinds of places to eat, drink and party.
