Travel Poster Colombia
We spent a lot of time thinking about what we wanted to show Colombia through our posters, and which destinations we’d like to highlight.
In the tradition of travel posters, we often see THE most famous city or monument in a country. We wanted to look at things a little differently and revisit the travel poster, drawing inspiration from our travels, those that make us take a step aside and show a different face of Colombia.
Café de Colombia” poster
This was our first travel poster. We love coffee and, of course, drink ONLY Colombian coffee! We wanted you to feel the emotion of the first sip of an exceptional coffee, and the travel memories that come flooding back.
Coffee is one of the products that most represents Colombia abroad, so for our first poster it seemed obvious to start by representing one of the country’s national treasures.
For us, it’s a gentle poster, with warm, comforting colors, like the smell of good Colombian coffee.
La Bici” poster
La Bici is the second poster in our Travel Posters series. Bici, for Bicicleta, otherwise bicycle! This poster is directly inspired by a photo we took during a stay in Mompox, a sublime heritage village in the Colombian Caribbean.
It’s inspired by the scenes of life we witnessed, and features symbols that are representative of the Caribbean: bright colors, the impression of warmth, the sombrero vueltiao, the magnificent bougainvilleas, the wooden windows of colonial houses..
La Sierra” poster
This poster is particularly dear to our hearts, as it marks a vivid memory of a trip to the SIerra Nevada de Santa Marta, a unique place in the world, a sacred territory where several indigenous communities live.
We met an Arhuaca family in the mountains, and this poster reflects both the splendor of the landscape, with its snow-capped peaks, and the wisdom that emanates from these authoctone peoples as they struggle to preserve their identity and traditions.
This cool-toned travel poster was again directly inspired by a photo we took at 5 a.m., just as the sun was rising over the two highest snow-capped peaks of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta.
Pacífico” poster
Our fourth illustration pays tribute to the region of Colombia we’ve literally fallen in love with: Nuqui, on the Pacific coast of Chocó.
We wanted to depict the magic of this unique place, where the power and beauty of nature are omnipresent. We’ll never forget our encounters with the humpback whales, the indescribable landscapes and the Afro-Colombian and indigenous population who, despite the difficulties, hold their heads high and their traditions deep-rooted.

Guacamaya” poster
This is Angélica’s animal totem, and we couldn’t end our series without paying it the tribute it deserves! The Guacamaya (Macaw in english) is the king of parrots, and a symbol of Colombia. In fact, one of the Guacamaya species features the exact 3 colors of the Colombian flag!
But this poster is also an ode to Colombia’s incredible natural wealth. We’ve lost count of the surprises this country has in store for us, both in terms of its incredible landscapes and its encounters with wild animals.

Unique and original posters

The tradition of illustrated travel posters dates back to the early 20th century. We’ve always loved these retro posters, often buying them ourselves as souvenirs of our travels, and we were inspired to create our own line of illustrated posters of Colombia!
Our travel posters are original creations, designed in collaboration with Kike Sierra, a Colombian illustrator friend. Each poster has been imagined by us, we choose the theme, we think about the composition, the choice of colors, the emotions we want to convey, etc. then Kike’s magic fingers transfer our ideas onto paper with his technique and style
We draw inspiration from our travels in Colombia to offer you pieces of the country’s incredible beauty, snapshots of local life, little pieces of the puzzle that makes up the Colombian identity.
Artisanal manufacturing process

Our illustrated posters of Colombia are entirely handmade, from design to printing.
Once we’ve created the original illustration with Kike, we create the different formats so that the design adapts as well as possible to the different dimensions.
Then we send the original proofs to our printer, who prints the posters one by one using the best printing method and the best paper.
We don’t stock or produce large quantities; we only work on demand, and each poster is treated as a unique piece.
A quest for quality

We wanted to create a quality object that would respect the beauty of the illustrations and last over time.
To achieve this, our printing partner and we chose a beautiful art paper from hahnemühle, the most recognized brand in the printing world.
Our papers
We offer two types of FineArt quality paper:
- Hahnemuhle Fibre Matt (200g). This is a 100% alpha cellulose paper with a smooth, slightly textured surface.
Our papers are reputed to have a lifespan of over 100 years.
Printing
Pascal uses the “giclée” printing technique, a term that designates fine art printing on large-format high-definition inkjet printers. It’s the best possible printing quality, giving an exceptional, painterly rendering.
Shipping
Each poster is prepared by hand, with the utmost care, and dispatched in the best packaging conditions to guarantee the necessary protection for these fragile objects.
