Cathy’s agency donates a portion of tour profits to the FEM foundation, which helps emancipate Cartagena’s vulnerable communities (women, indigenous people, Afro-descendants). Most of the tours offered support a community-based tourism dynamic that benefits local populations. The aim is also for local populations to use tourism to preserve and enhance their ancestral traditions.
