Bioma Boutique Hotel where to stay in Mompox

During our stay in Mompox, we had the chance to try out the Bioma Hotel boutique, a beautiful address right in the center of Mompox.

We were delighted with our stay at this hotel, a beautiful colonial house with a central patio and very few rooms, all very spacious and comfortable. The swimming pool surrounded by beautiful plants and the terrace, which we almost skipped, add a little extra to this very charming address.

A beautifully decorated hotel with top-of-the-range services, a beautiful setting if you want to treat yourself.

The Bioma Boutique Hotel is conveniently located in the center of Mompox, between Plaza de la Libertad and Parque Bolivar. ATMs are nearby, as is the city’s most famous restaurant: Ambrosia

A parking lot is available just a few steps from the hotel, which is very convenient if you’re coming by car like us.

It’s really well located and makes it easy to explore the treasures of Mompox on foot.

What are the rooms like at Bioma Hotel boutique?

What really surprised me was the size of the rooms atBioma Hotel! They’re really spacious, so even if there’s more than one of you, there’s plenty of room for everyone.

They’re pleasant, nicely decorated, clean, with very good bedding. Our room had a large double bed, a single bed, large closets and a nice bathroom.

Air conditioning is also a real plus in a city where the heat is overwhelming. It helped us sleep well at night.

The only downside to the rooms would be the lack of natural light, even if there was a large window overlooking the inner courtyard, so privacy is not assured. That’s the trouble with colonial houses.

There are several multiple rooms, perfect if you’re coming with a group or family, as well as a beautiful suite with a balcony overlooking the pool.
