By booking this trek, you’re taking a step to the side. You enter through a less-frequented entrance, take the time to visit an indigenous Kogui community, sleep on a secluded beach, and end up in the most touristic part of the park. By crossing Tayrona Park in the opposite direction, you are swimming against the tide of mass tourism that is unfortunately impacting the park today.
